Reach Out and Read Arizona is always eager to identify and partner with organizations and corporations that would like to support the Reach Out and Read program in pediatric health care sites throughout Arizona. Much of the success of Reach Out and Read Arizona can be attributed to our supporters - individuals, foundations and corporations - whose generosity have allowed the program to grow in Arizona, while simultaneously maintaining quality and effectiveness.

Zachary Mercurio Conducts Book Drive for RORAZ

A love of reading and a desire to help his community, 6 year old Zachary Mercurio decided to do this by collecting new and gently used books for younger kids saying kids who read, succeed. His goal was to collect 600 books with the help of his karate school, the North Phoenix Black Belt Academy. When the book drive ended, he far exceeded his goal by collecting a total of 1,800 books that have been distributed to ROR programs in the valley including the program at Phoenix Children's Hospital, his first choice.

What a great accomplishment, Zach. We thankyou and your fellow karate classmates for collecting so many books for our program.
